Women Leaders Speak Out

A huge thank you to everybody who supported, participated and enthused about our survey 'Women Leaders Speak Out' Over 230 senior women participated in creating this important piece of research which will now be used as a tool in defining strategy for the retention of women in corporate life. The Feminine Myth

By the end of 2004 it was predicted that women would finally be finding their place in the boardroom. This has not happened and not only has this increase in senior women failed to materialise but the trend is worryingly downward. If the female exodus continues and the demographics paint the need for radical, immediate change - where does that leave our organisations? Click here to find out...

Roundtable/Think Tank

As a result of the survey we were delighted to host a roundtable discussion on July 9th which was attended by industry leaders including Fleur Bothwick, Director of Diversity (Europe), Lehman Brothers; Niccola Swan, Equality and Diversity Director, Barclays Bank, Rhodorah Palomar Fresnedi, VP of Diversity form Unilever and Hilary Samson-Barry, Director of the Women and Equality Unit at the DTI.

The discussion was insightful and thought provoking and focused on the need to move away form 'talking' and into 'action' to address the critical issue of how to retain more women in the workforce.

As a result of the success of this discussion we will be hosting quarterly Think Tank discussions with industry leaders.

Women and Money with Fiona Price

What is it which makes this such an emotive subject for so many women? Why do we tend to put money matters to the bottom of the pile and hope they will simply evaporate? The financial world is a particularly inhospitable environment to many, especially women. But here's your chance to be enlightened! This seminar is about empowering you through your finances, explaining the jargon, clarifying your priorities and allowing you to ask all those 'silly' questions which no-one ever told you were the downright 'shrewd'. Find out what you need to know now and how to plan effectively for the future and take control of your money. This will probably be the best hour and half you have ever spent on your on finances! Don't miss it.

Margaret Heffernan - Author of The Female CEO

We were delighted to welcome Margaret Heffernan to our July Creative Female Leader event at Farnham Castle.

This is what she had to say 'One reason women don't achieve their potential is because they lack the confidence to draw up clear, focused career plans. And yet we know plans work. eve-olution's seminars target many of the issues that inhibit women and helps them to think as strategically about their careers as they do about their business. The clearer women can be about what they want and need for themselves, the more effective they will be in their organizations.'
